Silbertool contacted me in order to present their products with a wide range of advertising solutions. The company had a working and quality product that had to be marketed in an intriguing way so that it could attract deserved attention.
One of the challenges for me as a designer was to build the serious and masculine image of Silbertool that had to include the purple color of their original logo, related most often to emotions, femininity, and happiness. This was the reason why I wanted to emphasize the material of the product, namely metal, steel and grey shades.
My work started with photos of the thread repair tools and their processing. A little later, we made couple of videos, as well.
The organization of the shooting included preparatory work with the project team and overall organization of the activity. The video-making process was a challenge for both parties. Still, positive communication with the Silbertool team helped with the efficiency of my work. We wanted the footage to make an impression of quality, to inspire confidence, but also to show to the viewer the convenience and practicality of the products. To do this, we created an animation that demonstrated the way thread repair tools work.
I also focused my attention on the video sound that we prepared in several languages. In order to be sure that the message would be convincing and impactful enough, for the different languages, and namely German, Russian and English, I looked for voice actors with appropriate timbre and a pleasant voice sound.
At the next stage, I had the opportunity to work together with the team of Silbertool on numerous videos, showing how their tools worked.
The colors and shapes for the design of the printed materials and the site help convey a sense of masculinity, strength, and quality of the products. At the same time, they remain similar to the ones typical for the industry, for clearer readability, comfort and enhancing trust in the users.
